Clementine soap bar
Native to Italy, Clementine essential oil is made from the peel of the fruit. Clementine’s are sweeter, juicier and less acidic than oranges. The bright yellow oil is extracted through a cold pressed method. The name is said to have come from Father Clément Rodier, an Algerian monk. Legend says he discovered the unique orange in his mandarin garden. Considered to be effective in aromatherapy to help with restlessness and nervous tension.
We’ve added the natural mineral Zeolite in an ultrafine clay powder form, giving this soap a beautiful two-tone effect.
Axel Fredrik Cronstedt a Swedish mineralogist, observed that upon heating this natural mineral, the stones began to dance around as the water evaporated. Zeolite is a natural mineral that gives off negatively charged ions, it has the ability to absorb, store and neutralise toxins making it a valuable detoxifying ingredient for our soap. It is rich in silicon, calcium, potassium and iron.
